Due to the scarcity of jobs, a lot of my friends are taking on careers that are too different from our course. Some even go back to school to get another degree some takes up online programs like massage therapy program online that will open new opportunities for them. They feel like our bachelor’s degree is no longer sufficient for them to live a comfortable life. They have been waiting for years competing for a very minimal job opening.
I’m having the same dilemma as well. It’s been years since I started job hunting and yet nothing happens to me. Good thing I have other sources of income. However, I feel like I’m a failure in some ways. I’m just lucky my family supports me and makes me feel good towards myself. They shed some light that there are other ways for me to be successful. Well, I will take their word, I’m sure everything happens for a reason.
