renovation should be done
Renovation is what the other apartment needs. We thought about transferring there if ever the landlady decided to upgrade the interior. I have seen the inside of the apartment not long ago and I can clearly see the repairs that need to be done to make it presentable and livable.
She can even add stainless steel backsplash in the kitchen area to provide an easy-to-clean surface that protects the kitchen. A distinctive backsplash can also add a splash of decorative accent to the kitchen design. But, that decision is entirely up to her.
The good news is that our landlady already made a move to fix the leaking pipes. Also, she requested to transfer the water meter to a much visible area. Hopefully, we won’t have to scratch over leaking pipes again.
