Any feature that can give the company an edge over their competitor can draw the line between gaining and losing. Basically, most people are purchasing stuff online and most of them would want to ensure that they are buying the right thing. The ability to chat with a live person through a website is a standout feature for most online stores that positively influence the customer’s decision to buy.

Like me, whenever I plan to purchase a hosting package I make sure I am in a provider that has live chat option. This gives me confidence that I am dealing with a real person just like in the traditional stores, who will understand my need. Additionally, it enables me to air out my grievance or they can answer whatever questions I have automatically without the need to wait for several days just to get their response.

I feel that way; I supposed most customers feel the same way as I do. Of course, live chat system offer a lot of benefits for the company, which can be seen in their financial figures. That being said, it is clear that live engagement works for the customer and the seller.
