- Government tags sites they wanna block.
- Information is pass on to internet service providers. The providers or in the case of big companies their respective ITs flag the site the govt wants to block. They in turn can also block individual sites at their own discretion.
- That is why there are sites that are blocked in the whole country (these are big name sites like sexuploader).
- Miniscule sites aren’t blocked unless its specifically tagged by the company IT.
Now, if you have a friend and he has a list of proxy ip that are not blocked, you can ask him one IP so that you can enjoy your surfing in that place. Here is the procedure:
SETTING NEW PROXY
- Open Internet Explorer and Press <Tools>
- Select <Internet Option>
- Select <Connections> Tab.
- Click <LAN Setting> Botton.
- From the <Address Box>, type-in or copy/paste your new IP No.
- From the <Port Box>, type-in or copy/paste your new PORT No.
- Press <OK> botton (for LAN Setting), and Press <OK> (for Internet Option)
Important Note: Before you change your IP Setting make sure you make a copy of your OLD IP Setting. So you can bring back your OLD IP setting if anything bad will happen.
